ZePrA as of today runs only one file in parallel when using the GUI with hot folders. The command-line version (and thus also the Switch integration module) is capable of running multiple instances in parallel. In our tests ZePrA is a very fast tool - though, be sure to test on your files.

Yes, there is a SmartLink option in ZePrA that does exactly that. It allows you to specify a number of optimized DeviceLink profiles, and any color conversion that you don't have a DeviceLink for will have that DeviceLink created for you automatically.

How do the ColorLogic products compare to pure (for example packaging) N-Color workflows?

Advanced packaging products can re-separate files using a flexible number of spot colors. The answer ColorLogic has for such workflows depends on its unique ability to work with MultiColor DeviceLink profiles in CoPrA and ZePrA. Using Photoshop and the edit module in CoPrA, a customer can create custom spot color orders and build those into a DeviceLink profile that can then be used by ZePrA to separate incoming CMYK files. The UPPTC measurement tool already supports a number of devices directly. If you have another device it will be supported if it can save data according to the CGATS specification. To try simply save measurement data and import them in ColorAnt; verify that it looks correct to make sure the format is correct and supported.

Can I create my own test targets?

There is no built-in test chart creation tool. However, besides the built-in charts, ColorAnt and CoPrA support any measurement file that has the reference and measurement data specified in the CGATS prescribed way. A number of the free test chart creators from other companies (such as the MeasureTool from X-Rite or the ColorPort utility) can be used as well.
